JF lived in an apartment building owned by LF. LF did not do a good job of keeping the driveway plowed in the winter and he did not make sand and snow available for the tenants. JF slipped and fell while he was taking his trash out to the dumpster. The bad JF was carrying was not heavy, but nonetheless JF slipped and fell and he hurt his left leg and back. JF's left leg required surgery. The Insurance Company denied liability. Attorney Lynch took the case to trial and a jury verdict came back in favor of JF in the amount of $63,000.
